In prioritizing health and wellness, a one-on-one consultation session with the BFCC Mental Health Support Specialist may be of great benefit for your mental and emotional health.  Using a short-term approach to identify individualized mental health prevention and/or intervention supportive services, a need assessment is conducted to help identify and determine if/when ongoing support is needed and the available resources.  If indicated, a referral for higher-level psychotherapeutic services (e.g., psychotherapy) services will be made for concerns that are outside the scope of practice of the BFCC Mental Health Support Specialist.

Also available throughout the year are a variety of activities that promote holistic health and wellness via in-person and/or zoom/social media platforms.  The activities are designed to help optimize your health in nine dimensions of wellness:  emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical, cultural, environmental, financial, occupational, and social.  Encompassing all nine dimensions into one grand event is the annual Blackfeet Community College Health Day (ISK-SKOM-MITS-KOI-STOM) that is in the Spring Season and open to the entire community.   The Blackfeet Community College Health Day (ISK-SKOM-MITS-KOI-STOM)  includes over 75 activity hosts that provide wellness and self-care services and products to several hundred attendees each year.
