Taos Yellow Owl Sets New Dual Enrollment Record at BFCC
Dual Enrollment Student Earns Record-Setting 31 College Credits While in High School
Blackfeet Community College would like to recognize the outstanding academic achievement of Taos Yellow Owl. Through dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to academic excellence, he has completed 31 college creditsthrough Blackfeet Community College’s dual enrollment program, the highest number of dual enrollment credits earned by a student in the program to date.
In recognition of this remarkable accomplishment, Taos was honored by the BFCC Board of Trustees on May 21st, where he was acknowledged for setting a new standard of excellence within the college’s dual enrollment program.
By beginning college coursework early, Taos has already built a strong foundation for future success. Earning college credits while still in high school not only demonstrates exceptional time management and determination, but also provides a significant head start toward a college degree and future career goals.
His accomplishments reflect the value of challenging oneself academically and taking advantage of opportunities that prepare students for higher education and lifelong success.
