Soils Workshop March 2026
Blackfeet Community College, in partnership with FAST Blackfeet, invites students and community members to attend an upcoming Soils Workshop focused on building healthy, thriving gardens.
If you’re ready to grow your garden this season, this workshop will provide practical knowledge on soil health, pest control, and sustainable growing practices—all rooted in community learning.

What to Expect
Participants will learn directly from experienced professionals through presentations on key topics:
- Brandon Fish, USDA Technician
Soil Amendments - Stephen M. Vantassel, ACE Vertebrate Pest Specialist, Montana Department of Agriculture
Gopher Pest Control
This workshop is designed to provide hands-on, useful information to help participants improve their garden beds and better understand the role of soil and pest management.
Free Supplies for Early Participants
The first 20 participants will receive free supplies to support their gardens, including soil and garden hoses.
Additional Information
Dinner will be provided, offering time to connect, learn, and share with others in the community.
