Request for Quote (RFQ): Metal Building Package with Delivery

Blackfeet Community College (BFCC) in Browning, Montana, is requesting quotes for the supply and delivery of a pre-engineered metal building package. The building will be used for large equipment storage to support institutional programming, including agricultural, energy, and vocational training initiatives. This RFQ is for materials only and must include delivery to BFCC’s campus in Browning, Montana.

1. Building Specifications

  • Dimensions: 168 feet (length) x 42 feet (width)

  • Roof Configuration:

    • Option A: Single-pitched shed roof (south-facing)

    • Option B: Gable roof (two surfaces, total building footprint 168' x 84')

  • Roof Pitch: Between 3/12 (14°) and 5/12 (22.5°)

  • Snow Load Design Criteria:

    • Ground snow load: 100 psf

    • Additional load for solar array: 4 psf

  • Structural Requirements:

    • Engineered to support solar panel installation

    • 100 mph wind load and seismic compliance per local codes

    • All framing, purlins, girts, and fasteners included

  • Finish:

    • Galvanized or painted steel panels

    • Trim, gutters, and downspouts included

  • Doors/Windows:

    • Two 14’ x 14’ overhead doors (for equipment access)

    • One 3’ x 7’ steel personnel door

    • Optional: window openings (specify availability)

2. Purpose

This building will serve as a secure, weather-resistant facility for storing large equipment, including tractors, trailers, generators, and other machinery used in BFCC’s land grant, energy, and workforce development programs. The structure must accommodate wide access points and reinforced framing to support heavy-duty use.

3. Delivery Requirements

    FOB Destination – all freight charges included in quote

4. Quote Submission
