On May 14, 2026, BFCC and the families of the graduates celebrated the accomplishments of two outstanding nursing students during the Nursing Pinning Ceremony, honoring their completion of the rigorous journey toward earning their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees.
The ceremony recognized Tiphany Olsen and Dani Hamann for successfully completing Blackfeet Community College’s demanding nursing program, marking an important milestone as they transitioned from nursing students to future healthcare professionals. The event brought together family members, friends, faculty, and staff to honor their achievements and the dedication required to complete the BSN program.
The Nursing Pinning Ceremony is a meaningful tradition in nursing education, symbolizing both the completion of academic and clinical requirements and the beginning of a professional nursing career. For BFCC’s graduates, it represents years of commitment, perseverance, and growth.
In addition to earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, Dani Hamann was also recognized as the 2026 Valedictorian of Blackfeet Community College. Her academic excellence and leadership throughout her time at BFCC were celebrated alongside her graduation.
Reflecting on her experience, Dani shared gratitude for the support and preparation she received through the nursing program:
“My educational journey through the nursing program at Blackfeet Community College has been an incredibly rewarding experience that has prepared me both professionally and personally for a career in nursing. The program challenged students to grow through rigorous academics, hands-on clinical experiences, and a strong emphasis on compassionate patient care.
What makes Blackfeet Community College truly special is the supportive environment created by the instructors, staff, and students. The college fosters a sense of community, respect, and encouragement that allows students to succeed while feeling valued throughout their educational journey.
I am extremely grateful for the opportunities, experiences, and relationships built during my time at Blackfeet Community College, and I am proud to be a graduate of such an outstanding nursing program.”
Graduate Tiphany Olsen also reflected on the impact of the program and the personal growth she experienced throughout her studies:
“BFCC’s nursing program has been one of the most life-changing experiences of my educational journey. It challenged me academically, emotionally, and personally in ways I never expected, but it also helped shape me into the nurse and person I am today. Through every clinical, exam, early morning, and long night of studying, this program taught me resilience, compassion, confidence, and dedication. I am so grateful for the knowledge, experiences, instructors, classmates, and support that helped me make it to graduation. Completing this program is something I will always be proud of, and I’m excited to carry everything I’ve learned into my nursing career.”
Faculty and staff also expressed pride in this year’s graduates and the dedication they demonstrated throughout the program. Nursing faculty member Karen Conger noted the level of commitment required to succeed in nursing education and the readiness these graduates now bring into their careers.
The Blackfeet Community College Nursing Program continues to uphold its mission of preparing skilled, compassionate nurses through rigorous academics, hands-on clinical experience, and strong community support.
