Blackfeet Community College invites students, staff, and community members to participate in Health Day, a campus-wide celebration focused on wellness, healing, and cultural strength.

About Health Day

Health Day is a celebration of strength, resilience, and perseverance through self-care and well-being. The event brings together traditional knowledge, physical wellness activities, and creative expression to support holistic health.

The theme reflects the Blackfeet values of balance and healing:

Self-Care Activities and Wellness Stations

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of hands-on wellness and cultural activities, including:

  • Haircuts
  • Massage and Reiki
  • Yoga and exercise sessions
  • Gardening activities
  • Art projects
  • Meditation practices
  • Smudging: “The Healing Power of Smudge”
  • Fishing, hunting, trapping, and hiking education
  • Herbs, roots, and berries teachings

Product and Wellness Stations

Explore natural and wellness-based resources, including:

  • Native organic skin care
  • Native organic herbs
  • Game and fish protein
  • Vitamins and minerals
  • Organic juices
  • Bath bombs

Additional Highlights

  • Free lunch will be provided
  • Self-care activity stations throughout the campus
  • Community wellness learning opportunities
  • BFCC Open House activities happening alongside Health Day
