BFCC Delegation Heads to Washington, D.C. to Advocate for Tribal Colleges
Championing Indigenous Education: BFCC Delegation Advocates for Tribal Colleges in D.C.

Blackfeet Community College is proud to support Lisa Aimsback, Tayen England, and Kane Gilham as they travel to Washington, D.C. to advocate for Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) and the essential role they play in Indigenous education, community development, and sovereignty.
During their time in D.C., our delegation will meet with key policymakers to emphasize the importance of continued investment in TCUs, ensuring that institutions like BFCC can continue to provide quality education, cultural preservation, and economic opportunities for Indigenous communities.
This trip is a significant opportunity for our representatives to share the challenges and successes of TCUs while making their voices heard on a national level. We wish them safe travels and a successful advocacy trip!
