Blackfeet Community College invites Piikani knowledge carriers, teachers, students, community members, researchers, and others to participate in this year’s Days of the Piikani.
Taking place September 23 and 24 at Blackfeet Community College, this year’s gathering will honor Ninaista’ko (Chief Mountain) while celebrating Piikani knowledge, history, culture, and teachings.
Call for Presenters
We are seeking presenters who would like to share their:
- Piikani knowledge and teachings
- Stories and history
- Cultural perspectives
- Research
- Educational experiences
- Community knowledge
- Other perspectives that contribute to the understanding and celebration of Piikani culture
Days of the Piikani provides an opportunity for knowledge to be shared across generations and for community members, students, educators, and researchers to come together in recognition of the knowledge and teachings that continue to shape the Piikani community.
