Beading & Ribbon Work Fridays at the Learning Center

February 11, 2026

As graduation season approaches, BFCC students are invited to create something meaningful to wear and carry with pride.

Throughout the month of February, the Beaver Painted Lodge Learning Center will host Beading & Ribbon Work Fridays, offering students the opportunity to bead their graduation caps or create ribbon skirts and ribbon shirts in preparation for commencement.

Event Details

Location: Beaver Painted Lodge Learning Center
Dates: February 13, 20, & 27
Time: All Day
Cost: Free for BFCC students
Supplies: Provided

These open work sessions are designed to give students the space and materials they need to personalize their regalia and celebrate their accomplishments in a culturally meaningful way. Whether you are starting your first project or adding finishing touches, you are welcome to stop in and work at your own pace.

Beading and ribbon work are powerful expressions of identity, creativity, and tradition. This is a time to gather, create, and prepare for graduation in community.
