What does a Tutor do?
A Tutor will help student’s complete assignments, develop relevant skills and better understand the curriculum outside the classroom. Tutors work one-on-one with students while others teach a small group during a scheduled tutoring session. They usually work with specific students to improve their academic outcomes, but Tutors can assist all students in a variety of subjects. They usually specialize in a particular subject or range of topics. A tutor will be providing valuable help that complements in-classroom instruction and promotes ongoing learning and self-confidence.
