Degree Programs

The division of Business and Information Technology has developed a 2+2 degree program with the University of Montana. The 2+2 program of study provides a seamless transfer for BCC students who wish to continue their education at regional universities where they can obtain a Bachelor’s degree.

The Education program provides coursework leading to completion of both the general education and professional core program requirements. The Education curriculum is dedicated to providing authentic learning opportunities and can be modified to fit the student’s educational planner in Associate of Arts-Education with an Emphasis in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or Health & Physical.

The Liberal Studies field incorporates a wide variety of disciplines, all of which are related to human culture. Courses explore a wide range of human interactions and behavior, creativity, literature, languages, written and oral communications, civics, ethics, history, music, and the arts.

Blackfeet Community College’s Associate of Arts in Human Services Program prepares students to pursue a career in a variety of helping fields, such as alcohol and drug rehabilitation, behavioral health centers, social service agencies, youth centers, criminal justice facilities, schools, and community outreach programs.

The Math & Science division seeks to educate students pursuing a career in the math, science, or health care fields. BCC offers a wide variety of transferable science and math courses to meet the varied needs of our students.

The primary aim of the program is to prepare entry-level registered nurses as providers of care across the health/illness continuum and as members of the profession. The nursing program will give individuals the necessary competencies, cultural and clinical practices required for safe, effective, and holistic nursing.

The primary aim of the program prepares students for bachelor studies in Native American Studies, Education, History, Linguistics or Philosophy. Students will experience the growth of their knowledge of Piikani ways of knowing and critical thought through writing, reading, enriched discussions, experiential learning, and verbal and written analysis.
