    BCC opens for online instruction, offering student loan forgiveness

    Noting some of the Blackfeet Community College faculty took a six-week training through the American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) in distance learning last summer, BCC President Karla Bird said, “The faculty is prepared, and when this is over, our teachers will have the skills in both in-person and distance learning for the future.”

    As the fall semester commences, the community college is currently in “Phase 3” of a four-phase safety plan that President Bird describes as a “conservative plan.”
