With limited internet access, Blackfeet Nation schools navigate barriers to virtual learning
After hearing concerns from community members, students, teachers and parents, Browning Public Schools and the Blackfeet Community College will implement “distance learning” this fall.
The decision not to hold in-person classes comes after Glacier County saw an increase in COVID-19 cases. The county, which contains portions of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, had 13 active cases and one death from the illness as of Friday.
