    Blackfeet Community College’s missing Indigenous persons database nearing completion

    The Missing Indigenous Persons Task Force reported on Wednesday that the Blackfeet Community College’s new missing persons database is nearing completion.

    The tribal college was awarded $25,000 in March for the creation of an online database that will help law enforcement and families access information on missing Indigenous people.

    The funding was made possible by the Looping in Native Communities (LINC) Act network grant, which provides financial support to tribal colleges and reservations without tribal colleges for the creation of an online database.
