This is a program of study oriented toward preparing a student for entry-level positions within the Building Trades Industry. The program encompasses all trades involved with the construction of a single-family residence including layout, framing, roofing and finish. The program is offered as a certificate or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Construction Technology degree program. Gainful Employment Disclosure
The Learning Outcomes are as follows:
• Apply safety practices and procedures in the work area.
• Communicate and problem solve effectively with supervisors, customers, and demonstrate competency in the field of Building Trades.
• Students will develop the ability to plan, create, and complete construction jobs.
• Recognize terms and materials to apply in the Building Trades Industry.
